Now that I sort of have the hang of this blogging, and rather enjoy it. I saw a picture today that made me think of an event that happened with the grandkids, and I thought I should blog that.
Which will be the next blog you see.
But, a thought struck me. Does anyone really read this? Obviously if I see a comment which rarely has happened, then I know someone has actually taken the time to not only read it but left a comment. I get so excited my heart does a little happy dance, my hands shake(alright that is normal) I get a little knot in my stomach. Then I do it I click on comment. It makes me feel so good, it matters to someone that what I wrote wasn't a waste of time. They really are glad and have left a nice message. I hope I don't sound egotistical. But, this is an activity I can do. It's not athletic. Doesn't require a big IQ. There's even spell check.
I want my fellow bloggers to know. I read your blogs everyday you post a new one. There are 6 that I follow. I have them on my Dashboard. Feel free to put me on your Dashboard. Sometimes I leave messages sometimes not. But, just know I do read your blog.
Now I didn't write this to make anyone feel bad about not commenting, maybe nothing to comment about. People are busy. Maybe you take the stance ; If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. Hey that's great. I'm not really looking for what someone says as much as, did anyone read this. Maybe instead of comment it should have a counter of how many people have read it. It makes me think of an all night radio DJ. The live ones not the ones on a loop. How do they know anyone is awake and listening at 2:35 a.m.?

I am reading your blog at about 3:40 a.m.. Is your heart doing a little happy dance? I have insomia. I woke up at 1:30 a.m. then stayed in bed, awake, for a couple of hours, then got up.
When I returned from the Philippines, I learned that a bunch of people read my blog, but very few ever leave comments. But it definitely is fun to get comments!
Do you have a little knot in your stomach yet?

You can get a site meter! You'll know exactly how many people are reading you blog, who referred them, where they live, what post they entered or exited from, what they clicked on within your site, etc.
I love my site meters simply for all the random info I can get from them. :)
